Welcome to Redeemer’s Youth Ministry

Redeemer’s Youth Ministry exists to help San Antonio students cultivate hearts that are captured by the grace of Jesus Christ and renewed minds that are filtering every aspect of their existence through the unchanging grid of the Scriptures.

Our goals are to:

Engage students with the Word of God so that they grow in God’s grace and develop a distinctively Christian world and life view

Connect students to the wider church for fellowship, and to

Reach out to the city of San Antonio with the compassion of Jesus Christ so that students recognize their responsibility for mission, witness, and service in the world.

It is our conviction that the Gospel’s message of grace—that sinners are forgiven and restored by God through the work of Jesus Christ—is not only that which brings us into relationship with God, but also that which grows us to maturity. Consequently, we believe that this message of God’s grace is what students most need to hear.

Matt Beham leads Redeemer’s Youth Ministry Team. He brings incredible enthusiasm and love for the families of Redeemer church.

Christian Education
Our Christian Education (or Sunday School) classes will meet after the church service at 11:15 in Edison Rooms 1219 and 1221. Our CE Classes are split into Jr. and Sr. High, and we will be studying Paul's letter to the Ephesians. Come early for a snack, and stay late for fellowship!

Youth Group
Our Sr. High Youth Group will meet every other Wednesday night, and our Jr. High Youth Group will meet every other Sunday night. This is a time when we can get together to share a snack, learn from scripture, and pray for one another as we are equipped to take the Gospel back to our schools and friends. Please plan on joining us!

Events
This Fall, we have a number of events, some of which will be only Jr. High or Sr. High, and some of which will be mixed. The purpose of these events is not just to have fun, but also to have shared lives and experiences, through which we can get to know and love one another.
