Training in the Pews

Songs we sang: The Golden Rule, Open God's Word, 10,000 Reasons ("Bless The Lord Oh My Soul") 
The Lesson: Taught by Emily Louis
Luke 8:22-40
The lesson was on Jesus calming the storm and how we do not need to be afraid of those things that we fear because Jesus is in control of ALL things!

Christian Education

2yr Olds: taught by Chrissy Fitch & Missy Watts
Lesson 11, Jesus loves the children and wanted them to come to him

3yr Olds: taught by Anne & Quincy Davidson, and Elizabeth Bright
Lesson 10- The Paralyzed Man
The lesson aimed at thanking Jesus that he forgives sins.

Pre-K: taught by Meg Danekas, Angie Folley, & Brooke Waldrep
Lesson 10- Jesus Appears to Two Men
The lesson aimed at knowing that the risen Savior is always with us and share the good news with others.

Kindergarten: taught by Aaron & Mary Carter, and Meredith Moza

Lesson 10- We Listen to God's Word
Lesson aim was to listen to God as he speaks to us through his Word, and to ask God for hearts that trust him and want to tell others about him.

2nd-3rd Grade:  taught by David & Beth Dillon, and Alan & Amanda Williams
Lesson 10- God Sent Paul Out
The lesson focused on taking part in supporthing the missions task of our church; to ask God to help us stand firm in trusting and obeying the Lord Jesus.

4th-5th Grade:  taught by Jason Crosson, Alex Beaugh, & Jason Smith
Lesson 10- God Sent His People into Exile
Lesson aimed at learning how to identify wihich kings did evil and which did right in the eyes of the Lord; to understand why God sent his people into exile; to discover that God holds us responsible for keeping his covenant.
