Eric Arguello

Deacon

Eric Arguello and his wife, Amy, have been at Redeemer since 2014, when they were invited by a friend to visit. The Arguellos have two children, Sam, 22, and Mia, 15.  Amy serves on the Redeemer staff as RPC Director of Women's Ministry.

Eric, a Deacon at Redeemer, is a native of San Antonio. Eric serves as a nursery volunteer, a captain on the Greeter/Usher team and the Coffee Team, and is a member of the City Ministry Team. He and Amy help lead a Community Group. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Eric founded a new ministry at Redeemer, the “Servant Hit Squad”, which organizes volunteers to help RPC members and non-members with projects, household repairs, moving, or other needs. Eric also takes special interest in peace officers and leads a Bible Study attended by several officers.

Eric’s joy in serving others and continual welcoming of newcomers in the RPC system is an embodiment of the diaconal spirit of Redeemer, and, the Session believes, will be an asset to the pastoral search committee as we seek a leader to continue the outward-facing, missional heartbeat of Redeemer.
