SF VII: Faith and Family

Every parent experiences a moment when they are confronted with the profound delight and surprising difficulty that comes with the responsibility of raising a child. Out of that deep sense of blessing and fear, we search for wisdom and grace. The Scriptures have much to teach us. They show us how children and families fit into God's redemptive plan, clarify our responsibilities, and give wisdom for the challenges. God's word also provides grace for the journey. This class will provide an encouraging and informative environment to learn and grow as we parent the children God has given us. Topics will include discipline, discipleship, parenting young children, parenting adolescents, talking to our children about sex and sexual sin, technology and more.
