Lent: Remembering what Christ has done for us

Beginning with Ash Wednesday this week, Redeemer joins with the church around the world in entering into the season of Lent, a 40-day period of preparation for our remembrance of Christ’s crucifixion and celebration of his resurrection. As we embark upon this intentional contemplation of Christ’s work, it is important for us to remember that Lent’s significance is not found in what we do or are going to do to be like Jesus. New church plant in Northwest San Antonio!

The Session of Redeemer Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce that the Southwest Church Planting Network and South Texas Presbytery have selected Michael Novak to serve as the church planter for a new church plant in Northwest San Antonio slated to begin forming this summer.
Michael and Rachel Novak have served with Reformed University Fellowship at Trinity University for seven years, and have been members at Redeemer during that time as well. They will finish the semester with RUF at Trinity and plan to move to Northwest San Antonio ...

Georgianna Hildebrand will be the new nursery coordinator for Redeemer. Families and volunteers can meet Georgianna in the nursery starting Sunday, February 19 as she begins stepping into this important role within our children’s ministry.

Hi Parents!
Just a reminder that we have just 2 more weeks for enrollment in choir! Please consider this great opporunity for your students (2nd-5th grade).
We are treating each semester of choir separately. What that means is that if you participated in the fall, you will not automatically be enrolled for the spring. Additionally, if you are interested, you can absolutely sign up for this semester as well. Dates for choir performances include singing on Palm Sunday (April 9), and Maundy Thursday (April 13). What began in 2002 as a small, home-based Bible study has grown today into a thriving, Gospel-centered and city-focused congregation of almost 800 diverse members, all sharing a commitment to minister to San Antonio and the entire region of South Texas.
