Children's Choir Music Available!

Parents!
Several of you have inquired about music for home practice for our upcoming children's choir.
We have an MP3 available to listen and singalong to here.
We also have sheet music here.
Please drop off your kiddos in the TIP room by 8:45 so we can line them up. We will also reconvene in the TIP room between services to get ready to sing for the second service.
We look forward to having your kids participate with us this Sunday, December 20th!
Exciting News About Our Partnership in Ukraine

I am delighted to announce that the mission team in L’viv, Ukraine, has asked Redeemer to return this summer to partner in hosting the Leopolis Green English Camp.
Our church helped start the camp 9 years ago and has been going every other year since then. This past summer we had a fantastic group go and serve. So, we'll be sending a group back to Ukraine this summer and we’d love for you to consider going with us.

As 2015 comes to a close, I find myself asking, “How has another year passed so quickly?” I guess the old adage is true: “Time flies when you’re having fun!” Just this past week at our most recent Newcomers Dessert, I was especially reminded of God’s rich blessings upon Redeemer. Redeemer is pleased to announce that Jeremy Whitley will fill the newly formed position of Executive Director of Church Operations. Jeremy will assume his duties on September 1st, which coincides with Harriet Peavy, Redeemer’s longtime office manager, transitioning to serving solely as Redeemer’s bookkeeper and personal assistant to Senior Pastor, Tom Gibbs.

Manny Alaniz to Become Assistant Pastor

The Session is pleased to call Manny Alaniz to serve as an Assistant Pastor with oversite of Redeemer’s Westover Hills congregation. Pending final approval by the South Texas Presbytery, Manny should be ordained and installed by early September.
In 2005, Manny retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) after 27 years of dedicated service. During his career with DPS, Manny worked as a State Trooper, in the Criminal Law Enforcement Division and retired as a captain in the Narcotics Service.

The Session is pleased to recommend to the congregation that the Rev. Benjie Slaton, currently our Assistant Pastor of Congregational Life, become Redeemer's Associate Pastor of Congregational Life. Tom has been working on his Doctor of Ministry (DMin) since 2011. His dissertation seeks to educate pastors on how to make a successful transition from a church planter to an established church’s pastor.
