Sharing the Love of Christ Through Congregational Care
Redeemer seeks to actively share the love of Christ with members who need practical, emotional, and spiritual support. Life includes seasons of pain, loss, sickness, and crisis, when the comfort and care of others is essential. Whether you are in need of meals, prayer, encouragement, counseling, or pastoral advice, Redeemer is here to walk with you.
Leadership in Congregational Care
RPC Associate Pastor Bryant McGee leads Redeemer’s Congregational Care ministry. We encourage you to contact Rev. McGee if you have a need. However, all of our pastors, ministry leaders, Community Group leaders, elders, deacons and deaconesses play an important role in congregational care.
Building a Caring Community Through Groups
As a growing church, it is especially important that we connect every member to the kind of genuine care in the Gospel that allows Redeemer to feel like home. Community Groups and Shepherding Groups are one way we seek to do this. A Shepherding Group consists of two, three, or four Community Groups joined under the oversight of several officers at Redeemer to ensure that needs in the congregation are known and met in times of both joy and suffering. Leaders of Community Groups and Shepherding Groups coordinate about needs for support and visitation during hospitalizations, the birth of a child, the loss of a loved one, or a family emergency.
Reaching Out for Support
If you have a need, we encourage you to let your Community Group leaders and Shepherding Group leaders know and contact RPC Associate Pastor of Congregational Care Bryant McGee. In addition to praying with and for you, Rev. McGee can connect you to a Community Group if you have not yet joined one.
