This week, the Session had the privilege of sitting down with those who have most recently completed officer training at Redeemer and is pleased to announce their candidacy for office in the class of 2021. Elections will be held on Sunday, June 3
rd, immediately following the 10:45 a.m. worship service.
Candidates for the session include new elder candidate David Schwab and returning elders John Browning, Henry Sauer and Winston Meeker. New candidates for the diaconate are Chris Allen, Eric Arguello and Alex Beaugh. Craig Goedecke is a returning candidate for the diaconate. Please click here to read a bio of each officer candidate.
As required, the Session has instructed, examined and approved these men in the qualifications, duties and their willingness to assume responsibility for ordained office in the Presbyterian Church in America. They are now being recommended by the Session to the congregation to be elected at the upcoming congregational meeting on June 3rd.
The Session encourages the congregation to get to know these candidates and be prayerful for them and their families over the next month. It is important that we ask the Lord to guide us as we prepare to elect Redeemer’s newest leaders.
