Last week, the Session had the privilege of sitting down with those who have most recently completed officer training at Redeemer and is pleased to announce their candidacy for office.

A congregational meeting has been called for Sunday, June 7th, to elect elders and deacons to serve in the 2023 class of officers. Due to social-distancing measures currently in place, the meeting shall commence immediately following the first service and remain open throughout the morning to allow for all communicant members desiring a vote to have opportunity to do so.

New candidates for the office of elder are Jeff Brouillard, Zack Burkhart, and Alan Williams. Other candidates for the Session include returning elders John Fitch and Winston Meeker.

Vicente Jaime is a new candidate for the office of deacon. Returning candidates for the diaconate are James Sedgwick and Dan Wachdorf. Please click here to read a bio of each officer candidate.

As required, the Session has instructed, examined and approved these men in the qualifications, duties and their willingness to assume responsibility for ordained office in the Presbyterian Church in America. They are now being recommended by the Session to the congregation to be elected at the upcoming congregational meeting on June 7th.

The Session encourages the congregation to get to know these candidates and be prayerful for them and their families over the next month. It is important that we ask the Lord to guide us as we prepare to elect Redeemer’s newest leaders.
