Redeemer is pleased to announce that Eric Arguello will join the RPC staff as Facilities Coordinator in July.

As a growing congregation blessed with a property encompassing more than a city block in downtown San Antonio, there is much to be done to maintain Redeemer’s facilities. In this new role, Eric will coordinate landscaping crews, janitorial workers and general contractors at the Redeemer facility during the week, as well as supervising and planning for current and future maintenance needs of the property. As a deacon at Redeemer, Eric is also familiar with Redeemer’s philosophy of ministry, which will be valuable as he interacts with our neighbors downtown. Eric blog

Eric, a native of San Antonio, will retire this month as a Senior Inspector Deputy U.S. Marshal after almost 30 years of service in Iowa, Minnesota, Chicago, and Texas. Eric founded the “Servant Hit Squad” ministry at Redeemer, which organizes volunteers to help RPC members and non-members with projects, household repairs, moving, and other needs.

Eric also takes a special interest in peace officers and firemen and is active in Redeemer’s Christ-Centered Badges support group for members of law enforcement and fire service. He is married to Amy, who serves as RPC Director of Women’s Ministry, and they have two adult children, Sam and Mia.

“I am excited to join the team at Redeemer,” Eric says. “The Lord has blessed me with a desire to serve Him and others and I am really looking forward to serving our church and our city. This opportunity is a huge blessing.”

RPC Executive Director of Operations Jeremy Whitley says Eric’s role on the staff will help Redeemer pursue its mission in the city.

“Eric will be a great asset to the Redeemer staff, and his focus on our facilities will help us continue to be a hospitable place for our members and guests,” he said. “He has the heart of a servant and cares deeply for the flourishing of our church.”

Eric’s first day on staff at Redeemer will be July 1st. Please join us in welcoming Eric, praying for him and encouraging him in this new role!
