Work on the facility is moving along at a nice pace.  Every week, there are substantial changes happening.  As you can see from the photos, much of the upstairs has a first coat of paint, completed HVAC, and electical work.  Cabinets and other detailed millwork are being installed.  Those areas will sit now, waiting for the remainder of the building to catch-up.  In the final weeks, they will receive fresh paint, carpet, and other finishes.  In the Sancuary, the stage is almost complete which means they will finish the dropped side wood panels and begin work on the floors.

The major work is still concentrated on the downstairs and the Entry.  The Entry suffered a few delays because of the weather and the complexity of the site.  But, they are currently setting the foundation.  You can pray that the process will go smoothly, without unexpected delays.  Once the foundation is poured, you will see the steel framing go up quickly.

Downstairs, much of the difficult HVAC and plumbing work is being resolved.  All the classrooms are complete and the restrooms are close to being finished. In the Great Hall, the new concrete floor over the pool will be poured at the same time that the Entry foundation is poured.  Over the next few weeks, the downstairs will move quickly toward completion.

Please continue to pray about the complexity of the project.  From working with city officials to tricky existing parts of the building, there are lots of factors that have made this project a challenge.  Pray that the remaining issues would find swift resolutions and, as always, that the work would be done safely and within budget.  Even though there is still much to do, it is great fun to watch this project come together and see how much has already been accomplished.
