We at Redeemer have been called to care for our children and to honor the name of Christ. To this end, child protection policies have been developed to ensure a safe, loving environment where the Lord Jesus Christ is glorified and enjoyed by His people of all ages. We recognize that God has called us to exercise wisdom and prudence in our care for His children. It is our privilege to serve our King in this way.
Starting on the first day of Christian Education classes, August 28th, children in our CE program (pre-K through 5thgrade) will be required to be checked into class using one of our digital kiosks on Sunday mornings. Many of you have interacted with these kiosks during Vacation Bible School or when checking your children into the nursery this summer. The system will create a computer-generated name tag for your child and a unique three digit code printed on their name tag and a set of two check-out stubs for parents. You can use the kiosks located in the Nursery if you’re checking in younger children, but there will also be a dedicated kiosk for CE check-in located downstairs near the classrooms.
Parents with students first grade and younger will need to retain their check out stub and present this to CE teachers to check the child out at the end of the morning.
We look forward to a wonderful year of growing in knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ through our CE programs!
