Last night (yes, the Session gave up watching the first half of the Spurs game...which is dedication!) the Session had the privilege of sitting down with those who have most recently completed officer training at Redeemer and is pleased to announce their candidacy for office in the class of 2019. Elections will be held on Sunday, June 5th, immediatly following the 10:45 a.m. worship service.

Candidates for the diaconate include new candidate, Jonathan Sherrod, and previous deacons, Ben Bingham and Jeff Brouilard. Eligible to return to Session is John Fitch, already a ruling elder. Please click here to read a bio of each officer candidate.

As required, the Session has instructed, examined and approved these men in the qualifications, duties and their willingness to assume responsibility for ordained office in the Presbyterian Church in America. They are now being recommended by the Session to the congregation to be elected at the upcoming congregational meeting.

The Session encourages the congregation to get to know these candidates and be prayerful for them and their families over the next month. It is important that we ask the Lord to guide us as we prepare to elect Redeemer’s newest leaders!
