Redeemer Youthies Welcome Summer Interns.

Redeemer is pleased to welcome Sydney Smith and Eli Tilton as summer interns for the Redeemer Youthies.

Sydney Smith is a senior majoring in design at the University of Texas in Austin. She is a San Antonio native, grew up at Redeemer and was part of the Youth Servant Team in her time in the Youthies. During her college years, she has continued serving in youth ministry as a youth intern at All Saints Presbyterian Church.

“I’m really excited to get to know new kids and to create new, deeper relationships with students I’ve known for a while,” Sydney says. “I can’t wait to see what God is doing in our students’ lives and how He is calling me to be a part of that.”

Eli Tilton is a native of Fort Worth, Texas and came to San Antonio and Redeemer in 2021. He is a sophomore majoring in finance at San Antonio College. Eli participated in an after-school ministry program at his previous church, and has been volunteering with the Redeemer Youthies over the last year.

“I’ve really enjoyed working with the youth group this year,” Eli says. “I hope this summer will not only be super fun for everyone but will also be a time for all of us to slow down and grow in our faith.”
