Dear Redeemer Members and Friends,
Grace and peace to all of you, in Christ Jesus our Lord. What a wonderful year 2023 turned out to be in the life of Redeemer Presbyterian Church! The Lord gave us a fabulous twentieth anniversary celebration; significant growth in our worship attendance, as well as our youth and children’s ministries; the purchase of a new property across the street; numerous new members joining; and a wonderful year of giving, which allowed us to give even more to our ministry partners and to prepare well for the year ahead.
Whether you joined this congregation two decades ago or two weeks ago, we thank you for participating in God’s worship and work with us. You are an essential part of the story the Lord is authoring here at Redeemer. Life in Christ has been and is being deeply shared here. And now, we turn 21 as a church! Woo-hoo! Does turning 21 mean that we have reached maturity? We are certainly not all the way there yet to what we will all one day will be in Christ – fully made like him, seeing him face to face. But, we are growing and maturing in him, personally and corporately, as the Spirit works in and through our lives through the worship, fellowship, service and missional aspects of our life together at Redeemer.
Throughout our church, joys are celebrated and burdens are shared together, all in the hope that Jesus is with us all the way, using all of these things to shape and grow us into his likeness, preparing us to share the comfort we have received from him with others as they make their own journeys through life.
May this be a year of more shared life in Christ, for those of us who are already part of the Redeemer family, and for those yet to come to know Christ’s love or to find a home in his church.
Happy Anniversary, Redeemer!
