Youthies hire Boys’ Discipleship Coordinator.
Redeemer is pleased to announce that Andrew Puhl will join the Redeemer Youth Staff as Boys’ Discipleship Coordinator.
Andrew is a native of San Antonio and a graduate of Southwestern University. His wife, Sarah, grew up in Cibolo. Andrew and Sarah first met when they were six years old and played on the same tee ball team. They met again as staffers for T Bar M Camps in New Braunfels and married in 2022. The Puhls have a newborn daughter, Sparrow Jane.
Andrew has worked for T Bar M Camps since 2020, and has previous experience in youth ministry. As Boys’ Discipleship Coordinator, Andrew will build community with boys in the Youthies program, helping them grow in their relationships with Christ and with one another.
Andrew will be the first full time coordinator for boys’ discipleship at Redeemer, a role RPC Co-Lead Pastor Matt Beham says is an important step forward for the Youthies program.
“We are so excited to welcome Andrew to the Youthies staff,” Matt says. “This new role is an investment in multiple ways. It’s an investment in the young men of our church and an investment in our youth ministry’s capacity to connect with new students who are not part of Redeemer. This is also an investment in Andrew and his call to ministry.”
Andrew’s first day on the Redeemer staff will be December 1st, but he will begin visiting some Youthies events before then, including the Jr. High Retreat in November. Please join us in welcoming the Puhl family to Redeemer, and in encouraging Andrew in his new role!
